Mercury Response and Cleanup – Class Directions:

  1. Download the US EPA class .zip files from https://response.epa.gov/Region9Training.
  2. Unzip files and down load them to your computer.
  3. Click on Modules in order. They will automatically open and play.  This is a Power Point Show File, you cannot directly access the Power Point Slides.
  4. Once you have completed the class, please send an email to FOSC Robert Wise at [email protected] and you will be sent a certificate. If an entire agency is doing the training, please have your supervisor contact FOSC Wise and a certificate template will be sent to that agency supervisor.
  5. Technical questions on Mercury Response and Cleanup can be forwarded to Robert Wise. EPA [email protected]. Technical assistance during a Mercury response can be obtained by calling 800-300-2193, ext. 3.

 Descent into Madness  – Class Directions:

  1. Download the Mad Chemist Power Point Files from https://response.epa.gov/site/doc_list.aspx?site_id=6644 Training  in the Documents tab under Resources. Files will be in your “Downloads” file.
  2. The files will include Parts 1 -3 of the class, an Abbreviations and Acronyms Sheet, and a post-class survey.
  3. Click on the Modules in order. Play slide show.  If you require closed captions, use Presenter View.
  4. To play web links or Action Buttons, right click on the slide with the mouse, this will stop the Show. Then click on the link.  When the video is done, click on the slide to open to restart the presentation.
  5. Once you have completed the class, please fill out the survey and send it in an email to FOSC Robert Wise at [email protected]. A certificate will be sent to you.
